Extension data

Focus session data stays in local browser storage. The extension stores session goals, timer duration, tabs you explicitly capture, unfinished items, and generated receipt suggestions on your device.

We do not upload captured tab URLs, page titles, focus session notes, page contents, screenshots, cookies, or browsing history.

Voice input

Voice input uses browser speech recognition when available. Focus Receipt does not store audio, does not upload audio, and stores only the text you choose to keep in your session goal or unfinished items.

Website data

The website may collect your waitlist email and optional feedback. This data is used for beta access, launch updates, and product feedback only.

Deletion and export

You can delete and export local extension data inside the extension's Data view. You can request deletion of waitlist email or feedback data by contacting the project owner through GitHub.

Boundaries

Focus Receipt uses extension data only to provide and improve its single purpose: local focus sessions, user-selected tab captures, and local focus receipts.

Focus Receipt does not sell data, does not use data for advertising, does not transfer extension data to third parties, and does not collect full browsing history.
